Samantha and Colton chose this spot for their big day, and it couldn’t have suited them more.

As a Paso Robles wedding photographer, I’m always excited when I get to shoot at Terra Mia. The light, the scenery, and the natural beauty of the property always create a timeless, elevated look and Samantha brought so much heart and energy to the day that it felt magical from beginning to end.

She was an absolutely stunning bride, glowing, bubbly, and clearly adored by everyone around her. From the moment she stepped into her dress, there was this infectious energy surrounding her, and it never faded. One of the most emotional moments came during her first look with her dad. His reaction was full of love and pride, you could feel how close they are, and capturing that moment felt incredibly special.

One of my favorite parts of the day happened during golden hour, when the couple exchanged private vows at sunset. It was such a powerful shift, away from the busyness of the day and into a space that was just for them. I always recommend private vows to couples considering it; the intimacy allows you to really be present, rather than nervous or focused on the crowd. Samantha and Colton were so grounded in that moment...it was authentic, emotional, and deeply moving.

Every piece of the day came together so beautifully, from the gentle garden atmosphere to the way their love shined through in the small, quiet moments.
